Season Rota

Your team only has one shift during the course of the 26 week season. If your team misses the Rota date then there is an expectation that it will be fulfilled at some stage in the season, possibly on the tournament days when your team is not participating.

Café duty could involve serving customers, cooking the bacon or sausage rolls and manning the shop section. The café needs at least 8-9 adults to be able to run efficiently.

It’s manned by the people in your child’s football team. If you are unable to help on the day of your team’s rota (see below), you can always have substitutes like older siblings (adults), Uncles, Aunties, Friends or even Grandparents. It is only one small commitment of your time in the season but it does mean that all our children can enjoy a brilliant sport.

Helping in the café is an enjoyable experience and not as stressful as it may appear - football is a team sport, running the café is a team effort, by participating we can set an example to our children.

The café will have to close if it doesn’t have the required number of volunteers from the Rota.

This affects all of us, especially our children. Last season was the first season we excluded players as their parents refused to carry out cafe duty.

Remember the café and tuck shop is run by you and provides the funds that keeps football free for all!
