Little League Football
Little League Football is a registered charity that provides free football for children. The main difference of Little league football with other football organisations is that joining is not based on ability; we guarantee every player at least half a game, each week for as long as they want to participate.
The emphasis is on mass participation rather than elitism; enthusiasm and endeavour rather than ability. Players are encouraged to develop team spirit, self discipline and sportsmanship.
Morden Little League
Located at King Georges Recreation Field, Tudor Drive Morden Little League was the first little league of its kind to be formed back in 1968. The League comprises of 10 different sections from the ages of 7 upto 14, all offering free football for more than 630 boys and girls on a Saturday morning.
Morden Little League is a voluntary organisation run on the dedication and graft of many hard working people. Each Saturday between the months of September to May, they give up their mornings to help provide a safe and enjoyable environment for children to play their football.
We encourage the local community & businesses to get involved volunteering or securing sponsorship, enabling us to continue offering free football. We are affiliated with the Surrey FA and Football Association, plus our governing body (Little League football)
You can see the current crop of Committee running the league and we mustn’t forget the ones that help make this league the best around –Legends
All volunteers are checked with the Disclosure & Barring Service(formly known as Criminal Records Bureau – CRB) via the Football Association. Every player, parent and volunteer is required to sign a code of conduct in line with our respect programme.
